Getting started

Understanding the PER Method

What is The PER Method?
The PER Method is a 12-month, practitioner-led health programme that brings your health assessment, laboratory testing and personal context together. Your results are translated into focused actions through three connected lenses: Prevention, Elimination and Regeneration.
What do Prevention, Elimination and Regeneration mean?
Prevention looks for opportunities to protect long-term health. Elimination considers relevant nutritional, lifestyle or environmental barriers. Regeneration focuses on the foundations of energy, recovery and resilience. They are connected lenses, used in the order that suits you.
Is the PER Health Assessment really free?
Yes. You can complete the initial PER Health Assessment without paying or committing to a membership. It helps organise your health information and highlights areas that may be worth discussing. You can then choose whether a PER membership is right for you.
Does the assessment diagnose a health condition?
No. The assessment helps organise patterns into Balanced, Watch, Explore and Priority areas. These categories are not a medical diagnosis and do not replace evaluation by your GP or medical team.
Do I need to have symptoms to join?
No. Some members want proactive insight while feeling well; others want more context around persistent or overlapping concerns. Your chosen membership should reflect the depth of testing and support you want.
Who is The PER Method for?
Memberships are normally for adults aged 18 or over who want a clearer view of their health and practical nutrition, lifestyle and wellbeing guidance. The programme is not suitable for emergencies or for anyone seeking a replacement for medical diagnosis or treatment.

Memberships

Choosing the right level of support

Which membership is right for me?
Basics is a clear annual baseline. Foundations adds broader initial testing, targeted follow-up and two longer reviews. Optimise combines in-depth blood testing with Microba Essentials microbiome insight. Advanced provides individually chosen testing, more practitioner time, coaching and functional-testing credit. See the full membership comparison or ask the team for guidance.
What is included in PER Basics?
Basics is £39.99 a month for 12 months. It includes one annual blood and urine panel, one professional blood draw, one 15-minute practitioner video review, a personalised PER roadmap and 12 months of platform access. See PER Basics.
What is included in PER Foundations?
Foundations is £79.99 a month for 12 months. It includes a comprehensive blood and urine assessment, a targeted follow-up blood test, two professional blood draws, two 30-minute practitioner consultations and full platform access. See PER Foundations.
What is included in PER Optimise?
Optimise is £119.00 a month for 12 months. It includes two in-depth blood tests and draws, a Microba Essentials microbiome test, two practitioner consultations, a personalised roadmap and full platform access. See PER Optimise.
What is included in PER Advanced?
Advanced is £199.00 a month for 12 months. It includes two individually chosen advanced blood tests and draws, a 60-minute initial consultation, three practitioner follow-ups, four health-coaching sessions, £300 functional-testing credit and full platform access. See PER Advanced.
Are consultations online?
Yes. Membership consultations are provided by video, making it easier to review your results wherever you live in the UK. Any separately arranged in-clinic service will be clearly identified.
Do I need a wearable device?
No. A wearable is optional. If you already use a compatible device, relevant information may add helpful context, but it is not required to complete your assessment or membership.

Blood testing

Preparing, collecting and choosing tests

What is tested in each membership?
The panels differ by membership. Basics provides an essential annual baseline; Foundations starts broad and follows up selectively; Optimise includes an in-depth healthspan panel and Microba Essentials; Advanced testing is selected around the individual. View the full panels and marker groups.
Where can I have my blood taken?
Professional sample collection is available at 53 Randox Health locations across the UK. We provide the booking and preparation information for your panel. View the blood-draw locations map.
Can you arrange a mobile blood draw?
Where no suitable location is nearby, we may be able to arrange a mobile collection at your home or another suitable location. This must be organised in advance with the PER team and carries an additional, location-dependent charge.
Do I need to fast before my blood test?
Not every panel requires fasting. Follow the instructions supplied for your specific test, including any guidance about food, drink, exercise and appointment timing. Contact us before the appointment if anything is unclear. Our guide to preparing for your test covers fasting, water, exercise and supplements.
Should I stop medication or supplements before testing?
Do not stop prescribed medication unless the clinician responsible for it tells you to. Tell the PER team about your medicines and supplements, as they may affect preparation or interpretation. Follow the instructions provided for your panel.
What happens if my sample cannot be analysed?
A sample can occasionally be insufficient, delayed, haemolysed or otherwise unsuitable. A recollection may be needed. If the failure is caused by the collection or laboratory process rather than by missed instructions, we will normally arrange a repeat without a further core test charge. Any separate mobile or collection fee will be explained first.
Can I add extra tests or individual markers?
Yes. Additional tests may be considered when they answer a useful question or could change your plan. Options include gut, hormone, energy, environmental, genetic and targeted blood assessments. See add-on tests. Testing and collection charges are explained before you order.
Are the clinic and testing providers regulated?
The PER Method is delivered and managed by The Ozone Clinic Ltd, a CQC-registered provider. The clinic is registered for Diagnostic and screening procedures and Treatment of disease, disorder or injury. CQC registration applies to the regulated activities carried on by the clinic, not automatically to every educational, nutrition, lifestyle or administrative element of PER. Our blood-testing partners are CQC registered for the regulated services they deliver, and laboratory analysis follows the quality and accreditation standards applicable to that work.

Results & support

Understanding what your information means

How long do results take?
Turnaround varies by panel and laboratory. The timing given for your test is an estimate rather than a guarantee. We will let you know when the complete set of results is ready for practitioner review.
How will I receive my results?
Your information is returned through secure systems and brought together in your PER platform. Your practitioner review explains the important patterns in plain language and connects them with your assessment, history, symptoms, medications and lifestyle. See what to expect on our Results, Roadmap & Member Portal page.
What do Balanced, Watch, Explore and Priority mean?
They are PER categories used to organise your health information. Balanced highlights areas appearing well supported; Watch identifies useful trends to keep an eye on; Explore suggests an area needing more context; Priority highlights something to discuss or act on sooner. They are not diagnoses.
What happens if a result is abnormal or urgent?
Your practitioner considers the result in context and may recommend confirmation, repeat testing or review by your GP or medical team. If a result appears significantly abnormal or potentially urgent, we will use reasonable efforts to contact you. PER is not an emergency-monitoring service.
Does The PER Method replace my GP?
No. PER supports health understanding, nutrition and lifestyle action; it does not replace diagnosis, treatment or care from your GP, consultant or medical team. Do not change prescribed treatment based only on PER information. If you may have a medical emergency, call 999 or go to A&E; for urgent UK medical advice, contact NHS 111 or your GP.
How is my health information protected?
Health information receives additional protection. We use secure systems, role-based access, confidentiality obligations and carefully selected service providers. Information is shared only where needed to provide your membership, testing and support or where the law requires it. Read our Privacy Policy.

Payments & policies

Membership terms, cancellations and help

Are PER memberships monthly or annual?
PER memberships are 12-month programmes paid in 12 monthly instalments. The monthly price spreads the cost of the annual programme; it is not a month-to-month, cancel-anytime subscription. Your order confirmation records the membership and price you chose.
Can I cancel my membership?
If you join online or by telephone as a consumer, you normally have a 14-day cooling-off period. If you ask us to begin services during that time, we may charge for services already supplied. After the cooling-off period, the 12-month commitment continues unless we agree an exceptional early exit or the law gives you another right. Read the Cancellation and Refund Policy.
Are unused tests, appointments or credits refundable?
Membership benefits are personal, cannot be transferred and should be used within the membership term. Subject to your statutory rights, completed consultations, used or dispatched kits, processed samples, expired benefits and applied credits are not normally refundable. The full position is explained in our Membership Terms and Cancellation and Refund Policy.
What if I miss an appointment or collection?
Please rearrange with the notice stated in your booking information. A missed appointment or a failed collection caused by not following preparation instructions may be treated as used or may incur a reasonable rebooking or recollection charge. We will explain any charge before a new booking.
Are supplements and clinic therapies included?
No. Supplements, prescriptions, extra tests and clinic therapies are not automatically included unless your membership description or order confirmation expressly says otherwise. You remain free to decide whether to purchase them, and any cost is explained first.
How can I ask a question or make a complaint?
For general help, use our Contact page, email info@theozoneclinic.co.uk or call 01962 217110. If something has gone wrong, our Complaints Policy explains how we will investigate and respond.
